Yay! Veronica is back, now with longer hair! Thankfully, she is just as sarcastic as ever.
I'm not sure if I like the slowed-down credits song, but Mac is a regular! Whoo! Alas, Dick still is as well. But so is Lamb. Hrm.... I don't recognize the new people, though I assume they are Piz and Parker.
Aaaaand Logan and Veronica are back together. I am very bored by this and still cannot get over my Logan dislike. Sure, he's nice and schmoopy now ("A bow? How did you guess?" hee), but sooner or later, he will do something that will make me want to slap him. I get very weirded out when Logan is nice. It just rings completely false to me. Plus, he's much more interesting and funny when he's not nice. Schmoopy Logan is really rather boring.

coffeeandink's explanation to figure out what the hell was going on with Keith's subplot. But I loved the scene with him and Veronica, arguing over New York architecture.
The "Take Back the Night" rally rang a little false to me, but I have no idea why. The girls who went and knocked down Dick and kneed him in the balls also rang false to me, but that is less inexplicable to me.
Still, I'm glad they did it because I hate Dick, and I don't care if he is in pain or a poor woobie because his brother died. He is an asshole, and I detest what he did in "A Trip to the Dentist" and how he behaves in general. Yes, I feel strongly about this. I am glad the show doesn't woobie-fy him, but I am afraid of any sort of leaning in that direction. I am resisting the attempt to froth at the mouth about Dick, because yes, I hate him that much.
Why yes, "A Trip to the Dentist" does hit a few of my hot buttons.
I hope they don't play Parker as a Madison-type, but I don't think they are. She's actually very nice, albeit clueless.
I am also really, really looking forward to the first mini-arc.
