I think either
vonnie_k or
rilina said that Danny is the new Tom, and oh, are they right on! He's got the angst, and he's now firmly in competition for the title of "Worst Spy Ever." Spilling trade secrets! Breaching confidentiality! And I can only hope that he salted and burned Andrew's laptop's harddrive before dumping it in the water, because I've seen too many bad movies, and it feels like it will come back from the dead.
Speaking of which, is that whole G&J key true? I thought the way internet security worked, there wasn't a single key that could unlock everything, as that would be a stupid solution, and instead, there was something that involved factors of gigantic prime numbers and you only know your own key. This is what happens when you read Simon Singh's The Code Book, yay.
Also, I continue to adore Ruth, who is a book geek! And oh, she's just so sad and hopeful.
Harry is awesome, as usual.
And I really liked being able to see Fiona again! Adam and Fiona may be my new OTP, and I very much enjoyed how ruthless!Adam from the workplace becomes family!Adam at home and wants to know why his wife can't stay at home. It's an interesting role reversal from Tom and Ellie from S1, and I like it much better.
Other than that, the whole connection thing was a little heavy-handed with Andrew and Ruth, but it totally paid off in that last scene with Danny and the postcard. Oh Danny! You angst just as well as Tom!
I love this show, except now I'm scared they're going to boot Danny as well, given his current HAQ (High Angst Quotient).

Ok, the A plot of this wasn't so interesting, but I got to see more Fiona, so that was cool. Yay for girl!spies, particularly now that Zoe isn't on the show anymore. I'm hoping that she'll become a regular, or at least a feature character like Oliver Mace.
One of my favorite parts was Adam in his pin-striped suit, sitting on the couch and trying very hard not to wince at the bad music or criticize it.
Also, Harry continues to be awesome.
I also just love that the ending was so awful and unsuccessful, that Oliver Mace's cover-up was successful, that things didn't work out in the end.
