Veronica Mars 1x18-1x19

Ok, I have to admit, I got very confused because I thought in the end that the kid who was bullied was the federal agent, except obviously he wasn't. But I have read episode summaries and am now enlightened!
I felt so bad for Norris! And he has a crush on Veronica, which makes me sort of want to pet him. I can tell when I am doomed when I start liking anyone who likes my character. But, eh, yes.
And I actually had a slight moment of awwww when Logan showed up to punch the lights out of Ben, just because he was on the phone with her when it happened.
But whoa! What's with the kissing? What happened? I feel like I missed something! I mean, I no longer want to slap Logan every time I see him, but.... huh?
Also, Wallace and Veronica have their first fight! I like that the show lets Veronica be prickly and mean and not always right (her ethics when it comes to detective work still bug me, esp. when it came to bugging the counselor's office and going through people's medical records). And I was especially glad that her snooping came back to bite her. Duncan's outburst was really scary, but he was right about feeling completely violated about her knowing his medical condition.
And oohhhhh, I'm getting so embroiled in the sneakiness of the show that I can't tell if Veronica deliberately told Meg about tips for running off in front of Duncan or not!
I am highly suspecting either Weevil or Logan to be involved in Veronica's rape, just because. Or Duncan. And now I am just stating the obvious, given that there are only so many people who can be suspects!
And yay, Mac! I like Mac.
And I love Wallace and Veronica so much, and the "best friend" bit was awesome. And one additional yay for interracial dating! I hope Keith is happy. I like him.

Ooohhhhh, Echolls family dynamics! Wow, that is one messed-up family. I think even more messed up than the Kanes, which is saying something.
Also, Mrs. Kane is evil. And I want to slap her for yelling at Veronica.
I am also happy that the show isn't woobie-fying Logan. Have I mentioned that the Echolls are really messed up? And though I thought for a second that he might be lying, I think Aaron Echolls was telling the truth about being hit by his own father. It's generational, and it's frightening. Trina's being hit, Logan and his father react to rage the same way (a little like Mandy did, in the end, with the dognappers, actually). So... yeah. Still very scared of Logan, all things considered.
And I do like that Veronica knows to come clean with Leo instead of doing the stupid sneaking thing which drives me insane, and that she still doesn't actually like Logan.
The scene where she bitches out the bully was awesome, but I thought she was a little harsh on Mandy -- maybe projecting a little and disliking her own meekness in the beginning? Thought I have a hard time seeing Veronica without her tough exterior.
And oh, man, Weevil, what have you gotten yourself into? I'm adoring the second? third? episode of the series more and more, because looking back, Weevil's harsh reaction to his cousin trying to win over Logan's rich 09er girlfriend makes so much more sense (not that it didn't make sense in the episode, but now it's new and improved, with added depth!).
I had a very difficult time not blazing through the entire series right then.
