I think it's like you say in your post -- this hurt is so much bigger than all of us, so much so that sometimes even trying to address it ends up with more hurt. I hate that it is that way, and I'm glad to have your help and the help of others, despite the hurts and the slaps in the face and the anger that everyone's faced at some point, talking about race and racism.

And y'know, just know that my post on Bobby made a difference -- that is so cool. And it was so cool seeing the multiracial cast in your books. I wish I could say it were a cool thing that I saw fairly often, but you know... every bit helps.
