Played much Cranium today with sister and her friends and the boy. Much laughing ensued. I love these types of games -- Trivial Pursuit, charades, all the guessing games. I'm always sad because lots of my friends are too "cool" or whatnot to play them with me =(.

Good news: the used bookstore I gave my resume to called me back! Am going in to talk to them tomorrow afternoon -- all fingers are crossed.

And thanks to Salon.com's series of documents of freedom, I'm now rereading Martin Luther King Jr.'s Letter From a Birmingham Jail. Reading him always gives me chills and reminds me that apathy is the greatest crime of all. Unfortunately, I generally don't remember this and submit myself. But this expresses perfectly why I hate the people who say things like there is no more need for feminism because we're all equal now. Or that PCness is just stupid and that I shouldn't take offense at well-meant jokes targeting other races or nationalities. Because as King says, "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere."
