I swear, I'll stop spamming LJ soon. But I made icons!
This is so
coffeeandink's fault for making icon-begging noises at me ;).
Feel free to take, modify, ask for modifications (all the text can be taken off or things can be personalized). Credit is nice but not necessary.
Images taken off of Aethereality and The Gallery at Empty Movement.

1 and 2 are from Shoujo Kakumei Utena
3-5 are from Gokinjo Monogatari, by Yazawa Ai
6-8 are from Tenshi Nanka Ja Nai, by Yazawa Ai
9-14 are from Nana, by Yazawa Ai
And... these images I stole off a link from
coffeeandink, so she gets first dibs (though can I use the monster one?):
(another one that was taken was here)
From Kare Kano, by Tsuda Masami (it's her rendition of herself, hee! I love Tsuda, she's so funny)
I have discovered that the one thing better than making a gingerbread house is breaking it to pieces bit by bit and nibbling on it. I feel like Hansel and Gretel! How nifty!
For
rachelmanija, who wanted to see if the front of my gingerbread house actually looked like a spider's face... (the French Laundry pics are coming soon, I swear!)

And now.... Spiderbread House!

And... I have even more rat spam! Amazing...

Rats in boxes, always fun!

(itty bitty rat feet, how I love them!)

Fitz-rat being scritched on the chin again.
This is the best one though:

Poor Fitz-rat, in the evil clutches of
cychi!

Thu, Dec. 1st, 2005 09:30 pm (UTC)Yours is adorable from the side, and . . . yeah, a bit alarming from the front. *laughs*
(I hoard pretty things far too much--there's a gorgeous candle I've owned for about six years because I can't bear to burn it. -_-)
Rats! Iconage! *_*

Fri, Dec. 2nd, 2005 04:25 am (UTC)It does look like a spider's face. I didn't think that was possible.

Fri, Dec. 2nd, 2005 06:57 am (UTC)I wish we could have some rats. Maybe someday when all the predatory mammals in the house are old and slow, or when Chuckles is old enough to care for them safely in her room.... They are just too, too cute.

Fri, Dec. 2nd, 2005 09:14 am (UTC)Yes, of course you may keep your own monster icon, silly. Could you make me one with "food!"?
Oh, and I remembered more books to recommend: Sarah Smith's mysteries, starting with The Vanished Child, and Sarah Caudwell's, if you haven't read her already.

Fri, Dec. 2nd, 2005 04:47 pm (UTC)I love the house, fangs and all. My family makes one every year, with such fun stuff as dismembered snowmen and a gummi-shark pond, but we haven't had any fangs yet...
