I have discovered that the one thing better than making a gingerbread house is breaking it to pieces bit by bit and nibbling on it. I feel like Hansel and Gretel! How nifty!

Gingerbread houses always look like *such* fun, but my treatment of them is unfortunate enough that I've never made one. >.> See, one of my best friends made me one for Christmas the year we met, and I couldn't bring myself to eat it. Finally had to simply throw it away because it had gone horribly stale. ;_;

Yours is adorable from the side, and . . . yeah, a bit alarming from the front. *laughs*

(I hoard pretty things far too much--there's a gorgeous candle I've owned for about six years because I can't bear to burn it. -_-)

I wish we could have some rats. Maybe someday when all the predatory mammals in the house are old and slow, or when Chuckles is old enough to care for them safely in her room.... They are just too, too cute.
