A little bar on the rat cage broke so that the door now apparently doesn't always stay latched. I walked in this morning to find the door wide open, with the rats thankfully still asleep inside. I walked in a few minutes ago after work to find the door wide open again.

Rats still inside.

Most domesticated rats ever.

Or dorkiest!

It is true! Also, Fitz-rat's Amazing Break for Freedom was a year ago, and he's probably forgotten how thrilling it was ;).

(it lasted all of one minute, after which he promptly abandoned freedom for food)
