A little bar on the rat cage broke so that the door now apparently doesn't always stay latched. I walked in this morning to find the door wide open, with the rats thankfully still asleep inside. I walked in a few minutes ago after work to find the door wide open again.
Rats still inside.
Most domesticated rats ever.
Or dorkiest!

Twist-tie repair time?

Sat, Jun. 3rd, 2006 07:24 am (UTC)The funny thing is, mine will scamper to the door if I make the food clicky noise. Or sometimes they'll just be there, looking out at me, begging to be let out.
Definitely twist-tie time. My rat water bottle is held to the cage via twist-tie as well, because I lost the wire thing.
Also, I use twist-ties as stitch markers.
They are handy!
