Argh

Ugh, so being unemployed I sleep very late. And I am woken up every day promptly at 9:30 by the very annoying sound of the leafblower guys outside my window, and this goes one for a full hour. Now they're back at it. It's the most annoying perpetual sound ever, this constant loud buzzing noise. It even got through to my dreams.

In other words, the roses haven't died yet. This is a good thing.

Yesssss. Nina's wonderful but I suspect we're polar opposites in the gardening department. They're coming up for a visit on the 16th so must remember to check on the danged peony... on an up note, I understand my brother mowed over theirs, so mine must look good by comparision. Right? *grin* Love my brother.

I like ease in the garden and I just won't be bothered to fuss or spray and I'm just lucky that the clay is what the roses love since I do love them. The peony though is sumptous and if I had more space.... famous gardener's dangerous thought!

Bwah! Small oopsies on his part...

I'm now starting to greedily calculate just how much balcony rail I can use... I think I can fit six more pots in! The boy thinks I should wait to see if I'm lethal to roses, but but but... there's a rose called Lady Eowyn, and really, she's pretty, and there's no way I can avoid getting something named after Eowyn... right? /whine
