Waaaaaaah! Am packing up the last of my stuff, and the normal "WOE am leaving apartment of almost two years" sadness is setting in. I hate seeing an empty place where all my stuff used to be =(.

So sad.

So much packing and unpacking to do.

At least next weekend is fun sleepover type party.

Woe. The best solution is to have many people over to the new place to celebrate your moving in. Since we now have a car, this is all the more possible!

The settling in is much, much better. I mean, it's stressful as well (I couldn't find the right clothes this morning, or my washcloth, or my badge), but it feels more like building something or making something instead of unmaking, if that makes any sense?

That makes perfect sense--packing is dismantling a home, and unpacking is creating a new one. *^^* I actually quite like the unpacking process, much as I loathe moving.

(And it's good to hear that you're pretty much done and have your study working. ^^ That must feel nice.)

Who are you having a sleepover with? For maximum fun, it should include a partially inflated futon.

It's with some people from my knitting group and people they know as well! So sadly, no partially inflated futon, but lots of girly stuff with nail-painting and yarn and whatnot ^_^.
