I am a huge proponent for farmers markets there is nothing like buying from one. I sometimes go 2-3 times a week depending on what strikes my fancy. I'm lucky that there are several that happen near enough to me during the week.

The absolutely best way to have heirloom tomatoes is sliced with just salt and pepper to taste. So good! It's like eating a bit of summer. I've also diced them and then had it on top of a bed of baby lettuces, no vinaigrette or dressing needed. I recently substituted heirlooms for romas in a no cook sauce recipe and it was fantastic. If you want it I'll send it to you.

They add melon syrup in the green tea frappes? I'll have to remember to ask for the same next time.
