oyceterHurrah! I got my Amazon package yesterday, with The Grand Tour and Foxmask!
My rats are currently staring at my from their cage. I think they want me to play with them. Well, Fitz-rat is staring. Fool-rat is industriously chewing up a cardboard tube. It's very funny, because I think they think that my hands are very strange and hairless and tailless rats sometimes... when they're very happy to see me, they put their front paws in my palm and try to assiduously groom me.
I just realized I'm leaving for Italy in less than a week, and I have no idea what to pack or anything. I will be away for a week and a half, and I don't know what books to bring! I want to bring Foxmask, but it is hardcover and heavy. And I need to finish King Hereafter within the week because it's due sometime in the middle of vacation. Argh. Of course I had to pick now to buy more hardcovers than mass markets. Also, given that I am going with my mom and dad, I will need entertainment, and I can't possibly pack enough books for a week and a half without crowding my suitcase and leaving no room for souvenirs. Hrm. This is when an e-book would come in really, really handy.
