I am happy today!
Two people friended me, which was very nice feeling. Also had way too much cheesecake (but stomach is happy). Posted at AtPo, which was kind of scary, but I feel very accomplished for having ventured out into the online world outside of my LJ. Sometimes I post comments to people, but I always feel kind of weird doing it because I feel like I digress into things that should just be on my own LJ. And that's about all my non-lurking interaction with the online Buffy world.
I was in a silly mood earlier and decided the boy's new nickname should be Happy Fat Tummy Boy because he has a happy fat tummy. The boy does not exercise much, which makes him nice and squishy and fun to hug. Hopefully the boy feels the same way about my tummy ^_~.
Will continue being happy by not thinking about all the jobs I am not qualified for.
Will also feel very accomplished because read an entire essay on Utena in Japanese without consulting a dictionary! And actually got the gist of it! Unless didn't... ergo the strange ease in reading. Hrm.
And now, happy sleep. Accompanied by the not so happy getting up early tomorrow.

Hey again
Thu, Apr. 3rd, 2003 12:10 am (UTC)Let me guess. The other person to friend you was Rahael, right? She just found me too. Probably through you, so big thanks!
Good job on reading in Japanese. I can't even do Chinese, so it always amazes me when other people can do these different languages. Utena is a fan thing isn't it? To do with manga or anime or something? (Quite possible I'm mixing it up with something else.)
Happy Fat Tummy Boy
Hee! Too cute for words ;)

Thu, Apr. 3rd, 2003 01:44 am (UTC)I posted a comment in a livejournal (bonibaru's, who was the first livejournal I ever read, cos I used to read her blog from when she used to post at AtPO) and Oyceter recognised my name!
But yeah, Scroll I found you through Oyceter.

Thu, Apr. 3rd, 2003 09:24 am (UTC)Wow, ATPo archives FAST! Oh well... didn't get a chance to say hi to you and Rahael there =(.
Hee! Chinese is definitely hard. Despite having lived in Taiwan for half of my life and taking Chinese there the entire time, I still suck at it. I think my Japanese is actually getting better than my Chinese, embarrassingly enough -_-;;. There have definitely been times I've tried to say something in Japanese to my mom as opposed to Chinese, which makes her laugh very much. And look at me funny too.
Utena's both a manga and an anime, and definitely a very weird series at that. Writing my (stupid) thesis on it, ergo all the pain and heartache! Well, not really, but you know.
ATPo is acting up

Never happens to me, obviously, but my mom once started speaking in Chinese to my Caucasian friend. That was funny too!
Utena's both a manga and an anime
Heh, I guessed right!
