Wait, there is an upcoming kdrama with Hyun Bin (why do I like him?! He's not even very good!) and a female star who looks like this? And wants to be a martial arts star? With body switching thrown in?

... clearly I have not been keeping up with my blogroll enough.

Okay, I know nothing about kdrama, but I would TOTALLY watch a show with a female star who looks like that. Whoa.

hee. Yes. And Ha Ji Won played the female lead in Damo as well (which I still haven't finished watching but liked her in). I am no fan of Hyun Bin, but better him for this role than the originally cast Jang Hyuk, I think.

She was also in the movie version of Damo, called Duellist, and also the K-drama Hwang Jin-yi! I <3 Ha Ji-won so much. XD

So embarrassed! I can't believe I didn't recognize her as the lead from Damo, since I really liked that AND saw her in Duelist AND watched a few eps of Hwang Jin-I! Er... I was not used to her being in non-period clothing? Especially when she is not dressed as a guy!

Now I am even more excited because she was awesome in the roles I saw her in!

Ahahaha, so embarrassing! I have seen all of those (well, only a few eps of Hwang Jin-yi) and totally didn't recognize her. I am so used to her having a Joseon men's topknot! Now even more excited! She is so awesome!

She looks really different to me in the poster for that, FWIW--the hairpiece and the makeup....

Hard to say? I only watched 2-3 eps, and it started out in that sageuk way where you get her entire childhood story before anything happens. So I think I only saw her in a snippet of an episode.
