On a completely random reread of Angel Sanctuary 17

I had a brief moment thinking that life was making fun of me when I opened the volume and began to laugh hysterically.

"Oh my god!" I said. "I can't believe I forgot about Setsuna losing an eye!"

The sad thing is, I really did forget! I know I keep saying this and I am sure people think I am exaggerating, except I totally forgot! And then I read the rest of the volume and realized why I probably forgot, as the rest of the volume contains a demonic angel pregnancy, the deformed Sandalphon hovering grotesquely over Sara with wings studded with a hundred red eyes (ewwwww!), Lucifer being completely cold and dressed in an Edward Scissorhands outfit and being the actual mastermind of a convoluted scheme, and Sandalphon hovering in the shape of a giant, winged, zombie eyeball!

Oh yeah, Setsuna's eye magically regenerates too.

I believe you forgot about Setsuna's eye! There is so much to keep track of.

I know! I know! I mean... giant winged zombie eyeball... Maybe that deserves a special place in the Manga Eyeball Trauma Hall of Fame. Because usually the eyeball is the recipient of trauma, not the instigator!
