oyceterContinuing to enjoy, though currently this season's episodes haven't affected me quite as much as the last few of S1. But that may very well be because they're saving the sucker punches for later.
Brief notes, as I watched them rather spread apart.
- Oh Rube. I hope they manage to fit in more about your daughter and her mother before the season ends.
- I wish they'd do a little more with Daisy's faith; right now it still feels a little tacked on. I did like the episode with the transgendered guy and the church, but I feel like Daisy doesn't think very much about her faith, or even if it is faith. Which is possibly part of the point, except there's no further exploration of why she's just taken it up, if she really believes or is just sort of sporting the cross for the heck of it, or what.
- More Roxie please! Though I was very amused by her and Mason on the airplane. Roxie slapping Mason around is always amusing.
- George! Boyfriend! Whoa! Also, he is cute.
- The pet reaper is back! And he met Reggie!
- Hrm. I feel like most of the big developments are actually happening with Reggie and Joy; meeting Joy's mom is such an eye-opener and so very much explains why she is how she is. Of course, having her as a parent would still drive me batshit insane, but having Joy's mother as a mother probably would as well. I love the three generations of women in the house and Reggie trying to make sense of it all.
