Triumph! I have gone back and tagged all of my LJ entries!

I am now quite embarrassed about old entries, but oh well.

Now to just completely revamp my Memories; standardize entry titles for tv episodes, books, movies, and etc.; double-check said tags; redo my sidebar; and then everything will be ship shape and wonderful and completely obsessive-compulsively reordered.

It is quite possible that I was a librarian in a previous life.

On several occasions, I have changed my standard entry title format, and I have doggedly gone back and updated everything I can find!

I keep wanting to redo my sidebar, but that's not going to happen anytime soon for a number of reasons.

That's... vaguely frightening ;). I was actually doing it because I so admired your Memories layout and etc.

My next thing is to finally get BookCat and start cataloguing my books. Seems like a good time, especially since I need to start shelving them (finally!).

Yeah, my bouts of backtagging have definitely resulted in some cringing. I am nowhere near done with the process, though. So many entries. So I am very impressed by you.

I have given up on tracking my books with the software I was using, but I may someday get around to putting all of them on LibraryThing.

I know! I now wish that I figured out S2 much, much earlier so that I'd have less entries to do.

I got sucked into beginning to tag (though even now I'm not great at tagging stuff as I post) sometime after S1 starting supporting tags, but I remain bitter at the hard-on the LJ PTBs have for S2 -- in large part because I'm not keen on S2 (I don't like a lot of the styles, I don't like journal styles forced onto comment pages -- though yours is actually fine --, I don't like that there's no way to have for example your mainjournal view and your friendspage view be different).

Urgh, yeah, I am still very annoyed about the S2 thing, particularly because it really isn't easy to use for people who know enough HTML to not want to just stick to the fields they let you edit, but not enough programming to tinker around with the really scary looking S2 interface. Took me a while to just figure it out.

Also, I'm still annoyed by the fact that tags only go back to 100 entries. I wish they'd integrate them with Memories, argh.

Hee, usually I don't like styles forced onto comments pages as well. I ended up doing it for mine just because if you zap colors and zap images on it, it still keeps that hierarchical structure, while if you do that on the normal comments page, you don't, so if I am reading it at work it's harder to track who said what to whom. Heh heh.
