(no subject)

Sooo sleepy. I'm not very good at doing the sleep at midnight wake up at eight thing, especially given that my last regular schedule back in college involved my staying up till four at night reading and waking up around noon. Yes, I am spoiled. But tomorrow is the equivalent of my Friday, and there's the Mountain View Art and Wine Festival happening right outside on the street! So I'm going to wander around the stalls during lunch break.

Not been keeping up much with LJ lately between the working and helping the boy settle in. I suspect things will cool down as soon as he starts school and has homework at night, so I don't feel too guilty just reading every so often.

I succumbed to temptation and bought the Inner Child deck from the bookstore, brand new, with my shiny employee's discount! They are gorgeous (and quite large). Will peruse more tomorrow. I also borrowed Designing Web Graphics, because I'm a dork.

Hope you guys all have fun at the Meet tomorrow! Sounds like you're keeping pretty busy, which beats being bored, even if it means less posting on LJ.

I very much understand but from the other angle. I found when I added in LJ to the full workdays, full home life, and other on-line interests that I was struggling again to balance work and play! I'm not there either! My sol'n last week was to cut down the on-line which wasn't very happy making.

Very! ALthough my feet hurt like mad from being on them eight hours a day...

And yup, more tarot cards... they're beautiful and oversize, so the images are even larger, and hey, fairy tale themes!

It was! I only got to see a bit because I was on lunch break, but there were so many pretty carvings and pottery and glass works... good thing I didn't have enough time to agonize over buying anything!

Yeah.. we showed up in the chat room, but only Random and LittleBit were there =(. Not that they weren't nice to talk to as well...
