(no subject)

Am home sick. Have been feeling under the weather for some time, thanks to virulent allergies. Have slept for nearly 20 hours, so head hurts.

Feel guilty about being home sick, as have much to do at work, but head hurts too much to care.

Trying to figure out how to feed self without having to get dressed or shower.

Am quite gross right now.

Am horribly behind on LJ posting.

Have lost pronouns again.

On plus side, have little statues of Byakuya (the shinigami, not the rat) and Orihime, thanks to rachelmanija. Byakuya, Orihime and Urahara now protect the TV.

On minus side, would like to be shot and put out of misery.

To explain: the rats have discovered their mostest favoritest new toy, the windowsill.

Uh, yeah, I too am confused by the strange ways of the ratty mind.

Namely, Ruki and Bya-chan are content to merely lounge about in the windowsill. To prevent this (they chew on the screen), I've tried closing the slats of the window cover, but Renren, being a Sneaky Ninja Rat, has discovered that if he pushes hard enough against certain spots, the slats will open.

Renren, however, is not content to merely be a Sneaky Ninja Rat, and has also decided that he is a Famed Circus Rat. That is to say, he has discovered that he can climb up the window slats!

Unfortunately, he's still figuring out a good way to get down. So he'll climb, look down, think, "Huh, that's a lot of space down there!" Then you can just see him trying to figure out how to get down, but since he doesn't know how, he'll keep going, in the vain hope that it will bring him closer to the sofa. Alas for Renren, it is not the case.

Just for reference, the window is about four feet high. I have to tiptoe to reach the top when I'm standing on the sofa.
