(no subject)

Er. I made another excursion to the local yarn store. It's so hard not to buy things there, even though I am a very beginning knitter. All the yarns! So many colors! And they're all so soft. I contented myself with getting more DK yarn on sale... three more balls of Debbie Bliss cotton cashmere in grey, and then eight balls of Debbie Bliss cotton, also in grey. Alas, yarn on sale does not have wonderful color selection. And now I have no idea what to do with it again! Go figure. Well, I think I may be adventurous and try knitting a top or something with the cotton, and leave the cotton cashmere for another throw. Who knows. I also ended up getting Stitch 'N Bitch Nation and circular needles, which I have never used before. Then headed over to Jo-Ann to get more red chenille so I can finish my ribbed scarf, which is actually looking fairly nice, if I do say so myself.

Heh, I'm going to be pretty embarrassed if this dies down and I am left with tons of leftover yarn. But it really is nice just sitting in front of the TV and having my hands doing something. The only bad thing is that I can't knit while I'm reading LJ!
