Have decided to start cutting down on the FL because it's just taking forever to catch up on LJ these days. Mostly it's just diverging interests and fandoms and etc. and lack of time on my own part.

Mom is here now, which is nice, sort of. The not nice part is basically not being very sure as to how to entertain her.

The boy has somehow managed to get his hands on Halo 2 in French. I can't watch it without laughing because they have evil aliens! Speaking French! In their evil, guttural voices!

Tee hee. I'm amused by these things.

Katamari, for anyone who's interested, has gotten to the point in which the boy has rolled up an elephant and a giraffe, rendering me helpless with laughter, along with many swordfish, giant squid (they make funny groaning noises) and entire cities. Muhahahah! We have Godzilla-Katamari! Whoo!

Apparently there's some sort of book fair around Oakland next weekend. I really want to go.

In conclusion, quince is a very strange fruit.

thinkum's Calvin and Hobbes icons now have me desperately wanting more icon space and/or a Calvin and Hobbes mood theme.
