Wed, Oct. 15th, 2003 05:26 pmHorribly sleepy today... Mom is sleeping here and so the occupation of the bed was strange and unusual, thus woke up about half a million times. For once, not my fault I'm tired, seeing as how I normally do this to myself by reading until an ungodly hour of the morning.
I think either lack of sleep has made me hallucinate or strange forces have converged in the universe, because I swear, I'm being stalked. On my walk back to the store from lunch, one guy says hi to me, by my name. I don't recognize him at all, but assume he's a regular at the bookstore. Then this other guy starts walking next to me and saying stuff like hi, nice to meet you. I have an awful head for faces, so I figure maybe he's a regular too. Then he starts asking me things like where I live, am I still in school, how old am I, and... where do I work? At which point I figure out this is just some random person off the street and begin freaking out. Luckily, the store is a few feet away and I quickly duck in. He also asked if I was single, and if I were more awake and actually processing, I would have said a resounding NO to. Unfortunately, brain was so muddled that it took me about a minute just to figure out what he was saying. So was I being picked up? Do people just randomly do that to people walking on the sidewalk? If they do, I don't like it. Of course, I am also highly insular and antisocial.
Anyhow, that was strange encounter 1. Then later on in the day, I headed over to the bathroom and happened to see this guy standing around the comic book section. I'm in the stall, and I hear someone come in and make funny shuffly noises. Except, no one has come into either stall next to me, so I figure they are primping or who knows what. Then these shoes appear in the stall next to me, then walk out again, at which point I am very confused. So I peak out the crack in the stall and it's the same guy I saw at the comic book section. What was he doing in there? He shuffles around a little more and thankfully leaves. At this point, I am highly confused and very paranoid, so when I see him hanging around close outside the bathroom door, I hide out in the processing room for a bit.
Seriously though. What was he doing?
Too tired to catch up on entries... may miss Angel tonight because mom is here =(.
