Icons!

I am ignoring all current events until either the thesis is done or... well. Maybe I can just forget that all this is happening. Me, not really for war. Don't like Saddam, but as stated previously have many qualms about the way the US is going about this. And war? It just sucks. I'm a stupid idealist, but it kind of makes me sad that we have to do stuff like this in the world, you know? Well. I will try to be optimistic and thankful that things now are much better when compared to just half a century ago, and much much better than when Mongol hordes were overrunning China. Yes. I am now Ostrich!Oyceter.

Lazy day

I didn't do anything today.. it was quite nice. I think I'm still recovering from the mad thesis writing of last weekend, but if I keep recovering, there'll be naother mad thesis writing session in about three or four days. So I better get on that soon. Plus my sister is visiting me! Yay!

So far today I have friended a lot of people. I found some people whose fics I read or whose posts I read, and they apparently all just got new LJs, so I friended them. I think LJ is very addictive, getting to know about other people's lives and what they think about things. Then I played some more with Photoshop and made a whole bunch of new icons, which I will soon upload. Hrm. Maybe I will make my own homepage of icons! Cool. In Bridget Jones speech: "Am icon-making genius. Will be lauded for the brilliance of my icons and will win boyfriend. Oh, yes, already have boyfriend."

Got free pizza for dinner thanks to the student govt. on campus, and may end up watching Dr. Strangelove later. Yup.

My life right now is kind of slow, but it's nice that way.
