Book lovers' meme
Wed, Mar. 12th, 2003 03:17 am1. What book is in your bathroom?
Surprisingly, none right now. Although mostly that's because I'm camping out in the boy's room right now.
2. What book is in your purse/backpack?
Crossan's Jesus: A Revolutionary Biography, Dodd's Pagan and Christian in an Age of Anxiety for my religion class and Diana Wynne Jones' Fire and Hemlock for fun.
3. What book is on your bedside table?
I don't have one right now. But all my thesis books are over the boy's floor, along with other school books, Meredith Ann Pierce's Treasure at the Heart of Tanglewood and Lyn Flewelling's Luck in the Shadows. In my room, some random romance novels are on the floor, along with a printed out copy of Annie Sewell-Jennings' "Illumination" and Cynthia Voight's On Fortune's Wheel.
4. What was the last book you lent someone?
My entire collection of Sandman. And it's not back yet. Grrrr.
What book do you have loaner copies of, solely for the purpose of foisting it off unsuspecting friends and relatives?
None actually... I tend not to foist books unless I'm asked because I hate having people read stuff I love and tell me they didn't like it. But I've definitely lost a copy of Ender's Game and Pastwatch by Orson Scott Card to friends. As well as multiple other books, probably.
