1. As a child, who was your favorite superhero/heroine? Why?
Batman. Because a) the silly sixties TV show in which I was always Catwoman and b) he had no superpowers. Small me was very insistent on the coolness of having no superpowers, because it meant theoretically, with training or something, I could be Batman. Or Catwoman. You know.
2. What was one thing you always wanted as a child but never got?
This rabbit stuffed animal that was instead given to my sister. I hated her for that for a while. Then there were the multiple Barbie houses and My Little Pony stables. I was a very girly child. I find it weird now how I always feel a little apologetic admitting that I played with Barbies and enjoyed it, especially when everyone else vehemently denies even wanting a Barbie.
3. What's the furthest from home you've been?
Mileage-wise, maybe New Jersey (I'm from Taiwan). I'm not sure. Culturally though, probably Amsterdam.
4. What's one thing you've always wanted to learn but haven't yet?
I've always wanted to know French, then I kind of abandoned that idea and started taking Japanese in college. Now I want to know Korean. Maybe I'll pick up French some day too.
5. What are your plans for the weekend?
The weekend is over already =(. Next weekend, Prohibition Night and dressing up like a flapper! Yay 1920s.
