Watched Lost. Was not too impressed. Not a big fan of disaster movies to begin with, and I don't like things about plane crashes, given the frequency of which either me or my family is on airplanes and nervousness thereof. And I don't care about any of the characters at all -- they all seem like standard movie characters with single tics assembled for the sole purpose of arguing and forming various cliques. And why is it always the guy who knows how to save people and stuff? Sigh.

The boy and I have come up with a great solution to the creepy monsters of doom. In actuality, they have landed on Isla Nublar (or whatever it was called) and are being terrorized by dinosaurs! It's Jurassic Park IV! Er, well, I was amused. You know it's bad when it's the big creepy moment in which Weiss gets eaten and all you can do is laugh and think, "Dinosaurs!"

So, yeah, probably will not be continuing to watch.

I'll probably keep watching it for a while, just because it scratches my post-apocalyptic itch. But no, I wasn't overwhelmed either. Jack's just a little too hypercompetent, and Kate a little too "I shall find my Inner Strength! Also, I am pretty." But maybe it'll improve. *shrug*

Yeah, I had some issues with Jack. "I'm a doctor. I also used to be a pilot. And I used to be on the SWAT team. And I'm a Boy Scout!"

Hee! Exactly how I feel about Jack. Though I'll probably watch a bit longer just to see. And I was thinking about dinosaurs too! *g*

I don't watch Alias, so I don't have pre-irritation with regards to gender stuff. (But seriously. The Spunky One, the Pregnant One, the Old One, and the Shallow One? We couldn't get the Competent One? Well, maybe the Old One will get to be a wise sage or something.)
