On reading James Berardinelli's review of Triplets of Belleville I come across the line: "The movie can probably be best described as a true art-house animated motion picture -- a rarity, to be sure. However, for someone with an adventurous cinematic appetite, a production that makes Miyazaki appear mainstream is surely worth a look."

My first reaction: Miyazaki is mainstream!

Guess not here =(.

Hee, it's like telling people in Japan that Steven Spielberg's movies are art house films.
