Go see [livejournal.com profile] bobthehaitian! For all COC and women of Heroes, who are sadly being neglected by the narrative and possibly the fandom (except Claire and Hiro?).

The Haitian does get lines on occasion. I'm not sure exactly what he says as I tend to pass out.

He needs to have some kind of backstory, and soon. They got me all intrigued with his moral/religious views on his powers, and didn't follow it up at all.

I know! He was mysterious and seemed to have his own agenda, not to mention what seemed geared up to be a somewhat layered and sympathetic portrayal of a character of faith. I'm hoping that he has his own agenda as yet unrevealed to Mrs. Petrelli or The Company.

Well, Bennet and Parkman are bringing the radio-active man to New York, I don't think these characters are supposed to be the sharpest knives in the drawer. Or perhaps the writers are so used to marginalising Bob that they haven't considered the possibility.

Maybe the Haitian is part of a devious plan to cope with the threatened writers' strike in Hollywood later this year. If negotiations with the WGA break down, the studio can spin him off into his own show (The Haitian, natch). It'd be perfect: the protagonist doesn't speak, and he can make everybody else in the cast forget how to speak. No writers required!
