I have been feeling gray and tired lately (probably because of the gray weather and the lack of sleep, amazingly), so here are some ratty things that have cheered me up!

My First YouTube! Or: Ed-rat cannot get enough food. My favorite parts are when he has one food block in his mouth and somehow thinks he can fit another one in, despite the fact that some are almost as big as his head! The huffy noises in the video are me trying not to laugh.

I feel I named them appropriately, as Ed-rat is frenetic and crazy and smaller, and then Al-rat will pop his head out, see what Ed is doing, take a lab block, and then go back to sleep and ignore his weird brother.

People who frequent Cute Overload have probably seen a lot of these already...

Ahaha! That's so cute. It's really hilarious when he's got one in his mouth and tries to go in for another. I like how he amasses a little pile and then tries to put it away under the plastic bit toward the back of the cage. Socute. ♥

Also, that video with the rats loving on the cat is adorable! I wonder if they think the cat is their mommy, somewhere in their little ratty brains? At certain points it sort of looks like their trying to nurse! The cat bears it all so patiently, awww.

OH GOD THE KITTIES ON THE ROOMBA! *pees with laughter* I love it when the one gets shoved backwards by the vacuum. Bwahaha.

when he drops one of them outside the cage and deliberates going down for it ... but that would mean going *away* from all those *other* pieces of rat chow that he hasn't snarbled up yet!

I KNOW! He is just hoarding them, but still! You would think they see food once a decade or something.

Ren used to do that too, but not to the same extent! I think Ed's the only rat I've had who so far tries to put two food blocks in his mouth at the same time and is quite clearly torn over how to get all the food to safety in the fastest way possible.
