Er. Like Rachel says, I'm not sure if GWing is hard SF at all. Then again, I normally avoid hard SF, so I'm not sure if I'm the best judge. It's not just the skience in the series, it's the insanity of it that doesn't quite feel hard SF to me, but again, YMMV.
