ETA: just for the record, it is currently an ocelot.

And for some semblance of actual content... uh. There really is no actual content. Most of what I've been doing for the past two or three days is mainlining Honey and Clover for the nth time, due to vonnie_k watching and squeeing.

I love the the His Dark Materials Trilogy. Am a little nervous about the upcoming movie. Will probably see it, will probably cry with disappointment.

I love it too, despite some of the problems I have with the ending. I... hrm. Have not heard much about the upcoming movie, but hopefully when I go see it, I will be able to think of it as fanfic or something.

Yes, it does seem to sort of unravel. I didn't notice it on my first read through, but now that I am re-reading it, there seems to be some inconsistencies with Lyra's character....like how the spunky minx seems to be asleep most of the last novel....

pullman made into a movie? at this rate, the only people left will be gaiman and pratchett. gaiman because no one will be able to make the sandman into a movie (stardust has been), and pratchett because he won't let his books be turned into movies.
