Happy 2006!
Yay! Happy new year, everyone!
I am spending mine in my kitchen making squash and leek Thai curry. Yes, quite exciting ;). But me, my mom and my sister had a bit of leftover wine from Christmas and are just sort of watching fireworks on TV.
I finally fixed the multiple HTML errors in my 2005 summary (apologies, everyone), and now that I officially can't squeeze in any books to finish, I'll write up my 2005 book post later.

I am looking forward to your book post, as today marks Day Seven of lurking at home sick. I hope this isn't an omen for the coming year. I didn't even make it to Halle's party.

*hugs R despite germs*
If you lived closer, I would attempt chicken soup and feed it to you and hope that you ended up getting better instead of keeling over dead from my cooking.

If I'd eaten the pastries you sent, I might have recovered faster, as at least one type seemed to be growing penicillin.
