I have found my must-see movie of 2005!!

Other than that, I fear this journal has been severely short on actual content lately. Unfortunately, I write that not to say that now I shall be putting in Actual Content, but that my brain seems to have shut down this past month or so. I'm barely even reading, which is never a good sign. On the plus side, I have picked up knitting, but that doesn't actually take away from my reading time, given that my reading time takes away from my sleep time. I'm halfway through about half a dozen books, but so far, none of them have grabbed me by the scruff of my neck and forced me to read at breakneck speed.

In more optimistic news, it has been sunny and warm here the past week! This lifts my spirits immeasurably. And all the trees are starting to bud, and they're so cute! Two months of Californian winter is quite enough for me, thankyouverymuch. Please bring on the heat and the sunshine very soon.

Finally! Something in the tradition of Nightmare Before Christmas, one of my favorite movies ever!

You know, when I read your post, for a second I thought you meant "Witness", and I was all, Wasn't that a Harrison Ford movie that came out YEARS ago...?

I suppose there would be much less of a mixup if I had just stuck the title in, given that very few movies are probably called "Corpse Bride" ;).

It's the one with the Amish. It's a very good movie, actually.

Though I first saw the title and thought it was some horror movie (I'm very bad with horror). Then I saw Tim Burton's name attached and had my OMG SO KEWL! reaction.

My first thought too. I loved the movie. Don't know about this one though - corpses and brides together, not high on my list of things I really want to see! ;P

Usually the combination isn't something I want to see either (I'm horribly squeamish), but stop-motion animation! Tim Burton! Johnny Depp! Totally sold.
