I actually think Mako is more a genderswapped Mai than Zuko II. Not enough angry emo to be Zuko, lots of bored apathy with random startled moments. They even have similar expressions. (And Bolin basically a genderswapped Ty Lee, for matter.)

I hope Katara visits! She has 7 good reasons to beyond "I just felt like it!" (And she looked so sad when Katara was planning to run away. All the entertaining people were going away!)
