Oh, cool! I mean, the general knowledge, not lack of knowledge of non-East Asians ;). I keep feeling like I'm catching up with so much stuff, particularly because I concentrated more on Asia in college and not much on Asian America at all.

But yeah, I keep meaning to find Anne Fadiman's book about a Hmong family as well, and to find more books on specific ethnicities and countries and cultures.
