I took trasncriptionetarian notes for this panel, and my notes report MJ Hardeman as claiming no nonwhite heritage for herself, only pro credentials (anthro/linguistics) at the beginning. Later, she mentioned a granddaughter with native Peruvian features who cannot be listed as a "Native American" on US census forms, because she is not a member of any recognized tribe within the US; from that note I presume that Hardeman is married to, or one of her children is married to, someone of native Peruvian heritage.
