Oh, Mushishi. I remember seeing the first episode and being hit in the heart by the procession up to the banquet--the beauty of the animation and the colors and the brightness. I usually had to watch each episode at least twice, because the first time through I was bound to get so distracted by watching it that I forgot to pay attention to the story.
