The entire movie was so worth it for that, because even though the movie isn't really canon in my head, just knowing that even an AU!Ed and an AU!Al get back together is fine by me.

This is exactly how I feel. I mean, I think the series ending with the brothers separated is exactly the right choice, but it makes me so sad.
