I found my way to your journal because of the PotC2 debate originally (and as a tangent, I am now reminded that I haven't yet posted my critical review of the film, which I need to do rather than let it slip by totally), and to this post over a long and winding route in which I was talking with shati about the Great Cultural Appropriation Debate.

That was an incredibly run-on sentence. Argh.

Anyway. What I came here to say is that I very much appreciate your speaking out, and the insightfulness of your comments, which are very thought-provoking. Such words are still very much needed.
