*nods* Yeah, as is "Asianness" and etc. It seems to happen when cultures are located in other cultures in which they aren't a majority? Frex, if you stick me in America, I think I'm Asian. If you stick me back in Taiwan, I think I'm Americanized.

Then again, I think there is a pretty big ethnic identity among the Chinese people I've spoken to, but I think that may be a result of seeing so much American pop culture? I don't know. I wish I knew more about it.
